Spot Curing Radiometer Measures Total Light Pipe Output



A new spot curing probe and portable radiometer for quickly measuring the total output of light pipes used in a wide variety of curing applications is being introduced by International Light, Inc. of Newburyport, Massachusetts.

The IL1480 Radiometer/Photometer and Spot Curing Probe provide an easy way to validate the total output of halogen and LED-based light pipes used in curing systems. Featuring a single 12.5 mm aperture on the probe that easily captures light and is not position sensitive, this portable instrument needs no programming and displays NIST traceable results on an LCD.

Designed for use by non-technical personnel, the IL1480 Radiometer/Photometer and Spot Curing Probe are suitable for quality control testing in manufacturing plants and standards monitoring in clinical and research settings. The probe is available with a wide range of application-specific filters for measuring from the UV to near-IR (200 to 1100 nm).
