As its name suggests, this 15 ft. cable outfitted spool gun offers an improved nozzle assembly that balances the gun evenly in the operator's hand. The Spoolmatic 15A is capable of wire feed speeds between 70 and 875 inches per minute, pushes wires .023 in. - 1/16 in. in diameter and holds a 4-in. spool. Compatible with a wide variety of Miller power sources and engine drives, this spool gun offers an extended reach with a lower weight than the Spoolmatic 30A. The cost difference is substantial, considering that many shops do not need a 30 ft. cable assembly that may add clutter to the shop floor. Other features that improve performance and ease of use include an adjustable barrel assembly that allows the operator to vary the contact tip-to-nozzle position easily for optimum gas coverage.
