Polyester Splicing Film for Silicone and Other Substrates



Windsor, Conn. - February 6, 2004. Scapa North America has introduced a heavy duty pressure sensitive splicing tape ideal for use on silicone and other surfaces.

Scapa 512 consists of a polyester film single coated with a silicone adhesive that delivers excellent tack. The product makes a good flying splice and will withstand prolonged exposure to temperatures as high as 350°F. For shorter periods of time, Scapa 512 can withstand temperatures up to 400°F.
