Splicing Tape Bonds NON-Silicone Surfaces



Scapa North America offers Scapa 627, a splicing and sheathing tape that features an
aggressive adhesive that bonds to a variety of non-silicone surfaces. In addition to general purpose bonding, this product can be used to splice web rolls on printing equipment.

Scapa 627 is comprised of a polyester film single coated with an aggressive acrylic adhesive that delivers an excellent balance of tack, peel and tensile strength. The product's printable PET carrier provides dimensional stability and strength. The tape maintains adhesion at low temperatures and exhibits excellent aging and weathering properties.

Scapa 627 consists of a white 1.5 mil PET carrier and 1.5 mils of adhesive.
