Provide in-line splice or reduction, require minimal space
FCI-BURNDY Products, a leading connector manufacturer and provider of OEM solutions for the industrial, energy, and automotive industries, introduces the new HYREDUCER (YSR-TC) in-line reducing splice kits, and HYSLPICE (YS-TC) butt splice kits. The kits were developed for the telecommunications and electrical contractor markets to provide better wire management solutions when splicing or reducing conductors with irreversible compression connectors. These connector kits provide an in-line reduction or splice of two conductors while keeping space requirements to a minimum.
The HYREDUCER and HYSPLICE kits are pre-packaged with a connector, a length of heavy-duty heat shrink tubing, and an installation instruction sheet. Each kit is provided with heavy duty black or clear heat shrink tubing. The black and clear heat shrinks have been tested and pass the Telcordia GR-347-CORE "Abrasion and Cut Test."
All FCI-Burndy new YSR-TC and YS-TC kits feature inspection holes in the connectors to ensure the conductor has been fully inserted. All connectors are UL listed and can be installed with FCI-Burndy's tool and die compression system.
