New Spiral Hose from Parker Designed for Extreme Cold Conditions; Less Maintenance Means More Productivity

WICKLIFFE, OH - The new 772LT spiral hose from Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, is designed to work to -70ºF without loss of performance, reducing downtime and increasing productivity for machines that operate in extreme cold environments.

Parker's 772LT hose is engineered specifically for high impulse, heavy-duty applications (primarily, oil/gas drilling equipment) in the Arctic Circle and northern Canada. The hose's patent-pending design incorporates four-spiral steel wire reinforcement that provides longer life than standard braided hose.

Immediately available in -8, -10, -12 and -16 sizes, the 772LT hose is also ideal for snow groomers and side booms.

Rated up to 4,000 psi, the no-skive hose is compatible with petroleum-based hydraulic fluid and lubricating oils. It uses Parker's standard 71 Series fittings and Parkrimp crimping equipment, providing a wide range of easy-to-make connection options. With a nitrile synthetic rubber inner tube and MSHA-accepted abrasion resistant synthetic rubber cover, the 772LT hose has an operating temperature range of -70ºF to 212ºF (-50ºC to 100ºC).

Parker's extreme cold weather hose exceeds standards SAE 100R12, ISO 3862-1 Type R12 and EN 856 Type R12.
