Spencer Introduces New Vacuum Cleaning System at 2011 Car Care World Expo

The Spencer Turbine Company has introduced an even more efficient vacuum system designed to save car care customers money as energy costs continue to escalate. The company featured the new system at the 2011 Car Care World Expo in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Like the CarVac(TM) Series C vacuum system, the latest product is available with a 10 to 25 hp motor. Its vertical vacuum producer design is a new look for Spencer car care vacuum systems and allows for a compact footprint. When used with the company's Energy Watcher® control system, which keeps an eye on operating speed to help reduce energy use, the quiet, energy efficient system helps add to customers' energy savings and reduces operating costs. When the vacuum cleaning system starts, Energy Watcher ramps up to full speed, and when it senses that operators are no longer using it, the Energy Watcher reduces the vacuum producer speed and remains at a slower speed, which lowers energy consumption until a vacuum hose and tool is removed from the hanger for use again.

Also new from Spencer, and displayed at the Car Care Expo, is an air-boom for use when vacuuming to keep hoses from getting dirty because of dragging or being left lying on the ground, as well as a coin operated mechanism for use with its central vacuum system.

In addition to these products, Spencer's car care industry offerings include an Island Knockout separator, WaterTrap® separator, an Island Adapter Kit, Side-Saddle(TM) CarVac with 90° Access, Piggyback(TM) Dual Vacuum Producer Unit, metal tubing and fittings, vacuum inlet valves, couplings, sleeves, hoses and tools that ease installation and use. Filter bags can be specified in various fabrics for purposes such as anti-static or extra high efficiency operation.

Spencer central car care vacuum systems are available from 10 to 25 hp for three to eight operators. Systems can be modified for operation at high altitudes, and power conversions from 50 Hz to 60 Hz power can be provided, depending upon voltage requirements. Spencer can also work with customers who need even more capacity by combining many types of industrial vacuum cleaning modules into a single, integrated system with as many drops as required.

Spencer's system design and selection assistance experts can adapt a system perfectly to any setup, whether customers are vacuuming vehicles at a car wash, cleaning a rental fleet, detailing cars or prepping cars for auction.
