Speedway SuperAmerica LLC Selects RedPrairie's BlueCube Enterprise

Milwaukee, WI - RedPrairie Corporation, a world leading consumer driven optimisation company, today announced that Speedway SuperAmerica LLC (SSA) has selected RedPrairie's Retail Productivity Solutions (formerly BlueCube Software) for key back office components of the BlueCube Enterprise Solution for Petroleum and Convenience Stores.

"With over 1600 stores, SSA understands the Convenience-store (C-Store) industry and sets a high bar for advancing its business. We are pleased to see SSA trust the success of critical operations initiatives to RedPrairie. Our teams work well together, and achieving our specific list of objectives will set an agenda for continued operational excellence within SSA," states Kevin Saum, vice president/general manager, Petroleum & C-Store Solutions, RedPrairie.

Software that controls inventory has only recently employed the type of role-based operational control, interoperability and web-based empowerment that enables large-scale retailers, such as SSA, to improve customer service and satisfaction.

"The RedPrairie BlueCube Enterprise product suite provides an excellent fit to meet our comprehensive back office and price book requirements," said Marty Inkrott, SSA vice president, Information Technology.

The project team will apply process and workflow templates developed from the initial sites to all of the stores, speeding implementation throughout the chain. Additionally, the system's integrated e-learning courseware (e-Courses) quickly will train SSA employees on how to best utilise the system, further reducing rollout times and costs.
