Smart Laser Sensor Non-contact Speed Sensor



AMHERST, NH USA...Monarch Instrument announces the availability of the Smart Laser Sensor, a non-contact speed sensor providing a TTL pulse output.

The SLS has a 60-foot range using a visible laser sensor and is ideal for non-contact speed measurements where equipment cannot be stopped. The "smart" auto gain feature provides the best performance off contrasting colors like papermaking felts or rotating equipment. A TTL output is provided to interface with panel meters, controllers, portable vibration data collectors and balancers.

The Smart Laser Sensor is self-powered in a compact package and is designed to be hand-held or tripod mounted. The RS-232 output can provide ASCII information to a PC.
