Springville, NY. Peerless-Winsmith, Inc., a subsidiary of HBD Industries, Inc., has introduced a new stainless steel version of its MAXIMIZER series of D-90 TYPE SE worm gear speed reducers. Designed for severe environments, this new product is suitable for applications requiring frequent wash-down duty or operation in caustic and moist atmospheres, such as food and beverage products processing and packaging plants, where preventing rust and bacteria contamination on machinery is a problem. The product is available in three sizes, in either a solid or hollow shaft configuration.
