Magnetek’s New Spectrum Analysis Service Optimizes Radio Communication

Magnetek, Inc., a leading supplier of digital power and motion control systems for the material handling industry, today announced the availability of their new Spectrum Analysis Service. This service optimizes radio communication by analyzing the signal traffic present in the industrial workplace in order to reduce radio frequency interference. Signal traffic is a growing problem in the industrial workplace given the presence of modern control panels, wireless networks, bar code readers, and two-way communication devices. With Magnetek’s Spectrum Analysis Service, radio drop outs can be alleviated, avoiding costly troubleshooting, and new radio controls can be installed faster and more smoothly.

The service includes a scan of the entire facility or a single area, conducted by a highly experienced Magnetek radio control technician. Scans are conducted on all the commonly used operating frequencies. Customers will receive a comprehensive report, presenting an analysis of findings, scan screenshots, identification of potential interference, and frequency recommendations.

“Whether you are looking to diagnose current radio frequency issues, expand your current radio control operations, or commission a new facility, Magnetek’s Spectrum Analysis Service helps you navigate what’s “in the air,” said Aaron Kureck, Magnetek’s Director of Product Management, New Product Development, and Aftermarket Service. “Magnetek’s service is the easiest way to navigate facility airwaves, improving productivity and minimizing costly maintenance issues.”
