Spectroscopy Innovator Ometric Provides Simultaneous Real-Time, In-line Analysis of Fat, Protein and Moisture for Various Food and Beverage Products

ATLANTA, April 23 - Spectroscopy innovator Ometric Corporation today announced that it will provide live demonstrations of real-time, in-line spectroscopy applications for the Food and Beverage industry at the Powder and Bulk Solids 2007 - featuring its innovative SpectrInLine Processware(TM).

Ometric will be located at Booth #1647 the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia starting today, Monday, April 23, through Thursday, April 26.

Live demonstrations for the Food and Beverage Industry will include:

The Real-Time, In-Line simultaneous measurement and monitoring of moisture, fat and protein for the Food, Pet Nutrition and Beverage Industries. Utilizing the MultiAnalyte SpectrInLine Processware(TM) F&B 3.0 Ometric is providing live demonstrations of powder blending for a variety of food products including gravy mix, pudding, baby formula, cocoa, pancake mix and cake mix. SpectrInline Processware(TM) enables better quality control and manufacturing efficiencies.

"Ometric SpectrInLine(TM) couples the precision of spectroscopy with the rugged power of our proprietary Multivariate Optical Computing(TM) technology - allowing measurement of a variety of concentrations, right in the process line, at the speed of light. Such real-time process control, never achieved by other spectroscopic technologies, provides unprecedented quality, formulation consistency, and cost savings to many industries like pet nutrition, rendering, sugar, beverages, coffee, nuts, pasta, and many others," commented Dr. Bob Freese, Ometric CTO.

Ometric offers SpectrInline(TM) systems for pharmaceutical, chemical, agriculture, food and beverage, environmental, plastics, oil and gas and homeland security applications.
