Recent Advances In UV Technology With The V-7000 Series Spectrophotometers
The new V-7000 series is Jasco's latest UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotomer, offering unsurpassed optical performance through the latest electronics, optics and NIR detector technologies. Designed for applications from 175-3300 nm, they offer the ultimate in spectral resolution, and are able to resolve peaks of < 0.5 nm. The systems incorporate a floating casting system that isolates the optics from vibrational and atmospheric interferences, providing low spectrophotometer noise. They are also capable of fast scans (2000 nm/min) with no wavelength shifts.
A full range of detectors and accessories are available, including the exclusive Jasco absolute reflectance measurement system which automates the measurement of the spectral properties, film thickness, angle variation and other characteristics of solid samples. The incidence and collection angles can be set in a synchronous mode, simultaneously rotating the sample stage and integrating sphere. Alternatively, the incidence and collection angles can be individually declared in an asynchronous mode.
The system enables measurements of challenging samples with dramatically reduced noise and excellent photometric stability. This series coupled with Jasco's state of the art Spectra Manager(TM) software makes the system flexible and easy to use for a variety of applications.
