The UV300 and UV500 double beam UV-Visible spectrometers continue Thermo Spectronic's long tradition of providing high performance instruments with superb optical systems and build quality. These UV series instruments benefit from Thermo Spectronic's unique VQC (Validation Qualification Calibration) concept that guarantees the quality of UV-Vis data.
Both models offer double beam, scanning UV-Visible instruments with fixed or variable bandwidth, and come with a floppy disk drive. Built-in software and graphics screen give total flexibility to run spectra and process data independent of a PC. Alternatively, users can acquire a Microsoft Windows(R) (95, 98 or NT) controlled system for power and flexibility. A wide variety of instrument-controlled sample-handling accessories are available for maximum throughput and flexibility.
