Multidimensional Chiro-Optical Spectrometer

Jasco has introduced the J-810 Chiro-optical Spectrometer, the latest in their J Series Spectropolarimeters for measuring Circular Dichroism. In addition to improved sensitivity and performance capability for CD measurements, the new J-810 offers greater flexibility with a wide range of accessories available to enable other complimentary techniques, including absorbance and fluorescence, to be performed simultaneously on the same sample. The ability to extract as much data as possible from small valuable biological samples improves efficiency and productivity.

The Jasco J-810 Chiro-optical Spectrometer was designed to function as a chiro-optical work bench instead of just a CD. In addition to measuring traditional chiro-optical phenomena such as Linear Dichroism (LD), Optical Rotary Dispersion (ORD), Fluorescence Detected CD, and Magnetic CD (MCD), the system can be easily equipped to provide expanded capability. A scanning emission monochrometer can simultaneously collect fluorescence during thermal ramping as well as automated titration experiments. An optional stopped-flow device enables transient changes to be determined in fast biological and chemical reactions.
