New SpectraPro® 2000 Series: Imaging Spectrographs and Monochromators

Acton Research Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the new SpectraPro® 2000 Series Imaging Spectrographs & Monochromators.

Acton Research has upgraded the industry standard SpectraPro to add versatility and increase productivity. The newly updated SpectraPro 2000 features USB interface, on board filter wheel control and optional dual spectrograph ports. The SpectraPro 2000 Series continues to be available in 150, 300, 500 and 750mm focal lengths.

The SpectraPro 2000 Series USB feature is directly compatible with state-of the-art Roper Scientific CCDs and permits control as either a monochromator or spectrograph from a laptop computer.

The on-board filter wheel control immediately allows existing and future Acton Research filter wheels to be automated without using an additional, costly external controller. Simply plug the filter wheel control cable into the SpectraPro control electronics and control the filter wheel through the standard Acton Research monochromator software.

Dual spectrograph ports permit the user to equip the SpectraPro with two multi-channel detectors at the same time, permitting increased wavelength coverage from a single spectrograph.

Additionally, the compact 150mm focal length version of the SpectraPro, the SpectraPro 2150i, will now be available with the motorized slits and will also be available for double monochromator configurations.

The SpectraPro 2000 Series is also available in purged designs, optimized optically and mechanically for operation in a nitrogen purge environment for "Deep UV" wavelengths.

The SpectraPro 2000 Series uses the same proven imaging optical system as the previous SpectraPro systems and is compatible with Roper Scientific CCD cameras. A wide variety of spectroscopic accessories including light sources, gratings, light input accessories and software is available.

Acton Research Corporation manufactures and distributes across a broad spectral, geographic and market range. Acton's optical components and coatings have been used in applications ranging from excimer laser eye correction (LASIK) and DUV lithography to analytical and biomedical instrumentation. Acton instrumentation includes imaging monochromators, spectrographs and complete spectroscopy systems used worldwide for industrial OEM and research applications.
