Special Material Fasteners from Rino

Rino Industries Ltd of Chesterfield is pleased to announce the launch of a range of special and unusual material fasteners into their latest mechanical drive components range.

This range enhances a range of fasteners, screws, washers and such like introduced at the same time, in order to offer customer's a wide range of non-standard products from the UK.

This particular range encompasses a variety of different materials including Hastelloy which offers excellent corrosion resistance from oxidative and reductive acids as well as saline. Hastelloy C-22 is also particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracks and it may also be used with chemically resistant applications such as FPD (Flat Panel Display) and semiconductor production equipment/devices. Printed circuit board etching devices, metallic surface treatment equipment and chemical plant facilities are also ideal environments. Customers can choose from socket head cap screws, hexagon nuts and washers in this material range.

Inconel 600 is also another innovative material introduced into this fasteners range with socket head cap screws, hexagon nuts and washers available, all offering excellent corrosion resistance from both organic and inorganic oxidative and reductive acids as well as chloride induced stress corrosion cracks. Complete corrosion resistance is available against ammonia as well as excellent heat resistance for use in sputtering devices.

Nickel socket head cap screws, hexagon nuts and washers all offer excellent corrosion resistanc against sodium hydroxide like alkaline solutions, high concentration halogen gases and non-oxidative acids. They are particularly useful in both corrosion and heat resistant applications, such as sodium hydroxide gas concentration units and heat exchangers. All are clean washed minimising gas diffusion and preventing foreign particle inclusion.

Pure Molybedenum socket head cap screws, washers and hexagon nuts are available in sizes M3 up to M10 threads and have a melting point of 2623ºC which offers excellent heat resistance. They are useful for heat resistant devices such as sputtering equipment and high temperature furnaces, the company states.

Socket head cap screws in phosphor bronze C5191 offer resistance against fatigue, corrosion and abrasion. They are completely non-magnetic which makes them suitable for use for FPD Flat Panel Displays as well as semiconductor production equipment and devices.

Aluminium fasteners finish off the range in style, as they have many advantageous properties including non-existent occurrences of galvanic corrosion through contact with aluminium alloys and therefore they may be used with equipment and devices which utilise aluminium alloys. They offer excellent resistance against corrosion, electricity and thermal conductivity and are suitable for use in lightweight applications such as automobiles, aircrafts, spacecrafts, medical instruments and robots. Anodised aluminium as well as black or white anodised products are also available as specials, the company states.
