Spartanics and Systec Partnership to Create Custom-Engineered Screen Printing Systems Announced

October 24, 2007

Spartanics and Systec, two companies that specialize in modular designed highly flexible equipment solutions, announce a partnership to provide state-of-art custom-engineered screen printing systems to worldwide screen printers. The custom-engineered screen printing systems developed by Systec/Spartanics will enable screen printers creating flexible circuitry, nameplates, textile transfers, RFID, automotive parts, aeronautics parts, and other screen printed products to get maximum yields or create large format work previously difficult to do efficiently with more generic screen printing presses.

The custom-engineered screen printing systems created by Systec/Spartanics are built to customer specifications with globally available top quality components. The systems are built upon the time-proven Klemm screen printing press design that has now been improved with extensive software engineering and upgrade of system components since Spartanics obtained rights to the Klemm screen printing systems two years ago.

Tom O'Hara, Spartanics President, explains that the strong engineering emphasis and know-how in the two companies makes for a strong partnership that can deliver the customized solutions that worldwide screen printers need. "We are combining Systec engineers' 25 years in the screen printing industry with Spartanics' 45 years serving the graphic arts industry, and the similar emphasis in both companies on using modular design principles, best-in-class machine components, and state-of-art software engineering. Our strength is in custom order systems built to the exact parameters of what each screen printer needs."

Reinhard Zimmermann, General Manager of Systec adds, "The Systec/Spartanics global sales and service organization is set up to do extensive consultations to identify all required system parameters and to continue to do so as customer needs evolve. Our partnership model extends to our customers too. We ensure that our screen printer customers have exactly the right equipment they need to do both current jobs and meet the challenges of new products as new market demands develop over time."

Rolling Meadows, Illinois, USA-headquartered Spartanics (www.spartanics.com) manufactures best-in-class technology for both tool-free (laser-based), steel rule die, and male/female hard tool cutting systems, among other equipment for finishing products made from flat stock materials, and now screen printing systems as well. Its worldwide service organization uses state-of-the-art virtual service technician technology and also maintains offices and spare parts in Europe.

Systec GmbH (www.systec-bielefeld.de) was established in 2007 as a screen printing manufacturing firm from a prior technical service and sales company TSI founded in 1993.
