Designed to meet the specific needs of telecommunications ETSI/HDSL system applications, ASTRODYNE announces the CPK-0102 open frame isolated, span power DC/DC converters that are fully approved for EN60950 and UL1950 SELV safety standards. The CPK-0102 has a wide Input Range of 36 to 72VDC. Offering dual independent outputs of 118VDC, the CPK-0102 provides precision output current limiting on each output to 60mA to meet the TNV safety requirements. The outputs may be paralleled for current sharing (ie: 120V at 120mA). The compact size and wide operation range make the CPK-0102 Series ideal as the remote (NTU) power source in HDSL/xDSL remote LTU line systems. The CPK-0102 Series features an open frame construction that requires no external cooling or heat sink for operation over the ambient temperature range of -25° to +71°C without power derating. All models provide overvoltage and continuous short circuit protection and contain an internal input filter, that eliminates the need for the addition of external components, as well as a standard feature output imbalance indication. The CPK-0102 Series features industry-standard package dimensions of 1.97"L X 1.97"W X 0.492"H and pin-outs for convenient PCB mounting in new and existing applications.
