Enhanced Web-based Solution Improves Efficiency and Enhances Revenue Cycle for Radiology Facilities without Extensive Capital Investment

SourceMedical's radiology offering has undergone significant technology improvements in recent months. SourceRad has been upgraded to a Microsoft.NET smart client, creating rich application functionality for the user such as drag & drop scheduling and multiple tabs running simultaneous workflows. The improvements enable auto-updating and require minimal network bandwidth. Application functionality enhancements to the product include billing workflow optimization, document scanning capabilities, and integrated picture archive and communications(PACS).
Because SourceRad is ASP-delivered, the solution is fully scalable to the client facility, enabling each radiology facility to pay only for what it uses, rather than requiring extensive capital outlay up front. Cutting-edge fault-tolerance and high security coupled with advanced disaster recovery capability are also signature characteristics of the new SourceMedical offering.
