Sotera® Wireless to Exhibit Visi® Mobile System at ANCC Magnet Conference

Ground-breaking Patient Monitoring System Aligns with Forces of Magnetism

SAN DIEGO – Sotera® Wireless, Inc. will demonstrate how the early detection capabilities of its ViSi® Mobile System may significantly impact hospital patient safety, as well as support the ANCC Forces of Magnetism, at the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) National Magnet Conference being held from October 8 through October 10 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas.

The ViSi Mobile System is the first body-worn vital signs monitoring platform that measures all vital signs (ECG, Heart/Pulse Rate, SpO(2), Blood Pressure - cuff-based and cuff-less on a beat-to-beat basis - Respiration Rate, Skin Temperature) continuously with intensive care unit (ICU) level accuracy for non-ICU patients. It empowers nurses by wirelessly connecting them to their patients, putting patient vital sign numerics and trends where they want it, when they want it. The ViSi Mobile leverages the hospital's existing WiFi infrastructure and supports multiple options for viewing, alarming and connecting to hospital IT systems such as EMR and ADT.

Magnet-recognized hospitals and those working to achieve Magnet recognition strive for the highest levels of efficiency and productivity in order to ensure patients receive the best care in a safe environment. The ViSi Mobile System is designed to extend the reach of patient safety and enhance overall care by:

• Providing early detection of patient deterioration to aid in the prevention of expensive, preventable adverse events,

• Enabling hospitals to optimize the use of beds, by allowing continuous patient monitoring outside of the intensive care unit,

• Supporting efficient use of clinician time, elevating level of practice and mitigating the risk of human error in measuring, documenting and interpreting vital signs, and by

• Relieving nurses of the need to conduct time-consuming, intermittent manual vital sign checks.

Conference attendees are invited to visit booth #1621 to try on the ViSi Mobile and experience the system's capabilities firsthand.

The annual ANCC National Magnet Conference attracts over 7,000+ nurses and nursing executives from top hospitals who gather to share the latest advances in evidence-based practices. Sotera Wireless representatives will be at booth #1621 during exhibit hours to demonstrate the system and field questions. For more information visit www.soterawireless.com.
