SOR® Differential Pressure Switches Take on the Pressure
The SOR opposed piston type differential pressure switch is essentially two Static "O" Ring type pressure sensors connected at opposite ends of a common piston shaft. Weathertight or explosion proof models are available.
Features include: a wide variety of wetted parts, rugged construction, high-cycle rate tolerance, long life, narrow dead band, high overrange and proof pressures, self-locking adjustment, and a pressure range of 0.5 to 1000 psid.
"SOR opposed piston differential pressure switches are capable of a variety of process applications" says Mechanical/Nuclear Engineer, Joe Modig, "for example, detecting DP across a filter or flow across an orifice plate, or for liquid level detection."
The opposed piston type differential pressure switch has the capability to perform at higher pressures than competitors and provides more flexibility by its ability to have a variety of wetted materials.
Quality, service and delivery have formed the foundation of SOR service to the process industry since 1956.
