Sony Offers Limited Edition AIT-5 Solutions

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 7 / - Sony Electronics is now shipping a limited edition of branded AIT-5 tape drives, autoloader and libraries bundled with Symantec's Backup Exec(TM) 11d software and AIT-5 media. These special bundles will be available until Jan. 31 through commercial distributors and resellers nationwide.
A corresponding media promotion is running in conjunction with the limited edition products, offering end-users who purchase qualifying branded models of AIT-5 drives, autoloaders or libraries along with specified quantities of AIT- 5 media, the ability to receive additional media at no further charge.
Sony is also offering a trade-in program featuring a rebate of up to $350 on pre-owned, functioning tape drives and automation products when purchasing one of the limited edition Sony-branded AIT-5 drive bundles.
The bundle models that qualify for the AIT-5 media promotion and the trade-in program include:
