Digital Imprinting of 3-Dimensional Objects - an Alternative to Pad Printing
Danvers, MA, June 5 2008 -- The PromoJET Solvent Inkjet Printer is an extremely versatile decorating machine for flat or 3-dimensional items up to 5 inches high, with light-colored or white substrate. This machine is a time-saving alternative to pad printing process, especially for four-color process, gradients or multi-color printing jobs. With the PromoJET inkjet system, digital files are printed to the inkjet and transferred to the products, yielding crisp graphics, all within minutes.
PromoJET features an 8 color ink jet head with specialized solvent based inks that are formulated to adhere to most plastics, coated metals, leathers and many more substrates without pre-treatment. More difficult materials can achieve excellent adhesion with the use of a pre-spray. The system has a DC driven tooling table (11" x 18"), onto which parts can be tooled into a multiple-up configuration. Specialized RIP software controls the color reproduction and the overall amount of ink laid on the product.
