Solid State Relays have 6 mm wide, high-density design.

Press Release Summary:

DIN rail mount CKS series includes solid state modules in single 5 A or dual 2.5 A relay versions with spring clamp connections. Products use PTC/CK/42 push-in jumpers that can be cut to any number of positions, and all relays are soldered-in for immunity to shock and vibration problems. Suited for manufacturing automation equipment requiring high number of switch cycles, industrial control relays may also be used for switching solenoids up to 1 A.

ASI Introduces High Density Solid State Relay Family

Automation Systems Interconnect Inc. (ASI) - Carlisle, PA, is pleased to announce new additions to the CK Series of industrial control relays. At only 6mm wide the CK series is the highest density relay package on the market that easily mounts to a DIN rail. The new CKS family features solid state modules in either a single or dual relay version with easy to wire spring clamp connections.

The CKS relays are ideal for manufacturing automation equipment requiring a high number of switch cycles. They are also effective when space is at a premium in the panel and the application calls for at least a relay with a 5 amp rating. The CKS series comes equipped with one 5 amp solid state relay or with two 2.5 amp relays. These high power relays solve problems that may arise when relays of 1.5 amps, offered by other manufacturers, will not work in the application.

A significant cost-savings feature of the CKS family of relays is the use of PTC push-in jumpers. The PTC/CK/42 push in jumper is very low cost, easy to install and can be cut to any number of positions. This low-cost convenient jumper makes it simple to common inputs and outputs as necessary based on the application thereby further reducing installation costs. The CKS series is also ideal for switching solenoids up to 1 amp, and to increase durability and reliability, all relays are soldered in thereby making the unit impervious to shock and vibration problems.
