CDG Rolls Out New Saf-T-Chlor(TM) Thermally Stable Solid Sodium Chlorite

Bethlehem, PA, July 2002 - CDG Technology, Inc., producer of high performance Gas:Solid(TM) chlorine dioxide generators, has rolled-out its Saf-T-Chlor thermally stable solid sodium chlorite. CDG first introduced Saf-T-Chlor at the AWWA Water Quality Technology Conference in November 2001. CDG has successfully ramped-up its manufacturing process, and now supplies Saf-T-Chlor to all of its Gas:Solid customers.

Saf-T-Chlor is specially-formulated to absorb and dissipate heat, providing unrivalled safety even under extreme upset conditions. Independent tests show that, unlike standard-grade solid sodium chlorite, Saf-T-Chlor will not undergo runaway decomposition, even when exposed to an intense, direct heat source such as a flame.

Saf-T-Chlor cartridges are supplied by (and returned to) CDG in DOT-approved containers, available in a full-range of standard sizes. The containers are factory-sealed and require no direct contact with the chemical by customer personnel. Change out of Saf-T-Chlor cartridges is fast, easy and safe since all connections are made with quick-connect couplings.
