New! Solid Gold Electroforms

Cedar Grove, NJ: With over 45 years of innovation in electroforming technology, Servometer® has developed a patent pending process to manufacture Solid Gold electroforms. These thin walled, lightweight, structurally rigid hollow shells can be made in an infinite number of shapes and forms to fit into specific applications.

Servometer® gold electroforms are very precise, thin walled metal components that can be made as small as 0.020 in. (0.5mm), with walls as thin as 0.0005", depending upon the custom requirements. They can be produced to be hermetically leak tight and can be soldered or welded to custom end-pieces.

With the specialized electroforming process perfected by Servometer®, most custom electroforms require no significant tooling, therefore; several prototype variations can be made and evaluated, as opposed to being locked into a "good enough" design by expensive dies or molds.

Servometer® Solid Gold Electroforms have applications in many industrial, defense and aerospace applications and are suitable for both invasive and implantable medical applications.
