Humphrey Introduces HJA Series Solenoid Valves with Ultra Low Power Option
Humphrey Products Company has introduced the HJA Series solenoid valves incorporating an optional 0.25 watt ultra low power solenoid design. These new 10mm-wide valves are available in twelve different models, from a 2-port, 2-way configuration through a 5-port, 4-way configuration. All valves can be mounted on one manifold, which can optimize functionality while conserving enclosure space. The 0.19 Cv flow rate makes the new valves suitable for operating up to 40mm bore actuators.
The new Humphrey HJA Series valves feature a common body designed for subbase and manifold mounting, 1/8" NPT supply ports, 1/8", 5/32" and 1/4" cylinder ports, an operating pressure range of 29 to 125 psig, a standard 0.5 watt low power coil and choice of 12 and 24 VDC operation. Options include 0.25 watt ultra low power coil, air supply plate that mounts between the valve body and the manifold, and a variety of wiring options (flying leads, ribbon cable, D-Sub) and serial transmission protocols (Devicenet, Compobus. CC-Link).
