Parker Fluid Control Division Introduces New Car Care Valves

NEW BRITAIN, CT/February 14, 2008 - Parker Fluid Control Division, manufacturers of the Skinner and Gold Ring lines of solenoid valves and the Sinclair Collins line of process control valves, now offers a new line of solenoid valves designed exclusively for the car wash industry. The Car Care Solenoid Valve line reliably meets the most demanding applications including presoak, soap dispensing, water purification, water softening, hot waxes, spot-free rinsing, blowers and driers, and high-pressure washes.

The new line of solenoid valves features multiple-unit manifold assemblies for on/off control of water, soaps, detergents, chemical and compressed air service. Each assembly has a wide variety of seal and disc materials, ensuring a standard valve to fit every car care need.

The valve line can be purchased fully assembled or as modular components. For increased application flexibility, buyers can mix and match from a variety of available pressure vessels and coils. The coils are epoxy-encapsulated to assure safety from environmental exposure.

The Car Care Solenoid Valve line has a wide range of two- and three-way normally-open and normally-closed valves, available in brass and stainless steel. Additionally, four-way valves may be constructed in aluminum and manifolds in brass or stainless steel. The valves' orifice and port sizes range from 1/8" through 2".

Three- and four-way models can be used to provide pneumatic cylinder control of brushes, mitters and tire scrubbing assemblies. Also, optional metering valves can dispense chemicals or allow slow closure to prevent water hammer effects.
