UL Listed Explosion-Proof Valve From Lexair Works Safely In Hazardous Environments
LEXINGTON. KY (November 30, 2001) - Lexair's UL listed explosion-proof, 3-way, normally closed solenoid valve is designed to meet control application challenges in hazardous locations.
The male 1/4" NPT outlet port mounts directly on Lexair's 2- and 3-Way Poppet valves and Tube-O-Matic(TM) valves for simple, safe and effective valve operation in flammable locations, including dust and gas environments.
The body of the Lexair 3-way explosion-proof valve is made from brass and the seals and seat from Buna N. The valve's soft-seated poppet design provides bubble-tight sealing in air applications. It can operate safely in temperatures ranging from 0° F to 104° F ambient, with a maximum TC3 valve temperature rating of 160°C. Maximum operating pressure is 150 psi.
The Lexair 3-way explosion-proof valve is available in 120 volt/60 Hz, 240 volt/60 Hz and 24 volt/60 Hz models. Power consumption is 7 watts DC and 6 watts AC.
