Solectek Establishing Brazil WiMAX Operation and Evaluating Local Manufacturing, Distribution and Investment Partners

SAN DIEGO - Solectek Corporation, a manufacturer of broadband wireless equipment, announced that the company is establishing operations in Brazil in order to locally manufacture and sell its SkyWay-MAX(TM) series of WiMAX point-to-point and multipoint equipment. Solectek is currently evaluating partners with strong customer relationships in the telecommunications sector, including wireless internet providers, carriers and wireless product manufacturers and distributors.

Solectek and research firms agree that Brazil is primed for WiMAX growth.
