New Green Labeling Simplifies Identification of EFD's Lead-Free Solder Pastes

Lincoln, RI USA -- EFD introduces new color labeling that quickly identifies the lead-free versions of their SolderPlus® dispensable solder paste.

All lead-free SolderPlus formulations are now packaged in 3, 5, 10, 30 and 55cc syringes that feature green end caps and a green leaf label design for immediate recognition on the production floor.

These tin/silver, tin/silver/copper, and tin/bismuth alloys have low liquidus temperatures from 217° to 138° C, and provide precise, consistent solder deposits when applied with air-powered dispensing equipment.

Lead-free SolderPlus is available with no clean, RMA and water-soluble flux systems, and makes an ideal replacement for tin/lead solder in electronic assembly applications.
