Solder Paste & Flux Remover from JNJ Industries Now Certified Clean Air Solvent by SCAQMD
Franklin, Massachusetts, USA - JNJ Industries' AquaSonic AQP Solder Paste & Flux Remover has been certified by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) as a Clean Air Solvent, meeting their new, more stringent requirements of 25 grams per liter or less of VOC.
AquaSonic AQP removes solder paste and flux from stencils, printed circuit boards, tools, and other surfaces quickly, effectively, and safely. It's non- hazardous, non-flammable, virtually odor free, works well in ultrasonic cleaning machines, and is available in concentrate form, or pre-mixed with water and ready to use. AquaSonic AQP is more than 90% water based and all ingredients are 100% active. It has been specially formulated to remove the toughest no-clean and lead-free solder pastes, SMT epoxies, and flux residues from all types of surfaces commonly found in electronic manufacturing environments and machinery. AQP utilizes a proprietary electro-chemistry technology to clean, by reversing the normal polarity of the contaminant. This causes the 'like' charges of the contaminant and the substrate to repel each other, thereby preventing reattachment to the substrate. The suspended contaminants can then be washed away, leaving a clean, water break-free surface. AQP works at a sub-molecular level and is especially suited for critical cleaning applications due to its unique ability to penetrate small cavities to dislodge microscopic contaminants. This cleaning technology significantly improves process efficiency by minimizing the amount of rinse water needed.
