Bivar's Solder Side Covers(TM) Protect Hot-Swappable CompactPCI(R) Boards from Shorts and Accidental ESD
Designed with AntiStat® ESD dissapative PVC to meet emerging hot swap and removable PCB requirements, Bivar Inc.'s SSC Solder Side Covers Series provides full protection against damage of 6U and 3U systems and peripherals by fully covering the solder side of PCBs with a transparent puncture resistant barrier.
Manufactured from Mirrex 7002 certified PVC film, the SSC Series meets Bell Core (GR-1421-CORE), EIA 541 and MIL-PRF-81705D specifications. Bivar's SSC Solder Side Covers are easily mounted onto existing PCBs by using four small screws or plastic snap-rivets (arrow fasteners) at the corners of the PCB. Custom punched through holes and slots or application specific protection is available.
