Overview
A large percentage of DB2® systems that have Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) installations utilize ERP solutions from SAP such as R/3 and mySAP(TM) ERP. SAP provides a set of basic monitoring and management functions to help you manage the portion of DB2 that supports your SAP ERP solution environment.
Until now, no tools have been available that match the rich functionality of the DB2 Tools to help you manage this environment. Three new products are now available that offer you capabilities to further optimize your SAP ERP solution investments by providing better automation, administration, and performance management.
These new products are offered exclusively to customers who have a IBM zSeries® machine dedicated to the SAP ERP environment. The toolkits are priced to value for this market segment. If you wish to utilize these functions in other than this dedicated environment, you must purchase licenses to the individual products that comprise these toolkits.
