Federation Releases Value Chain Connector for MatrixOne(TM)
DENVER, CO - January 18, 2006 - Federation Software(TM), developers of solutions for the Federated Value Chain(TM), today announced that it has released its Value Chain Connector(TM) (VCC) in support of MatrixOne's(TM) PLM software. MatrixOne(TM) is a leading global provider of collaborative product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services(TM) and is headquartered in Westford, Massachusetts.
As a marketplace leader, Federation Software will combine its proven technology, modern federated architecture and commercial off-the-shelf PLM Value Chain Connector(TM) with MatrixOne's(TM) PLM software. The Value Chain Connector (VCC) for MatrixOne(TM) allows disparate PLM systems to be connected bi-directionally to your MatrixOne(TM) system. The VCC works hand-in-hand with Federation's Independent Platform Gateway(TM) (IPG) to precisely define product data your organization needs to share, and then actively transfers the data to the target systems you designate. IPG continuously and securely transmits updates to the data between the systems.
