Centrify DirectControl 4.1 Extends the Industry's Broadest Support for Cross-Platform Identity Management with Microsoft Active Directory

SAN FRANCISCO, April 7, 2008 /-- RSA Conference 2008 -- Centrify Corporation, a leading provider of Microsoft Active Directory-centric identity management solutions for Linux, UNIX and Mac, today announced Centrify DirectControl 4.1, which adds support for 25 more operating system versions to raise its total to over 135 non-Microsoft operating system versions integrated into Active Directory. These include the latest versions of Mac OS X Leopard, VMware ESX, IBM AIX and the latest releases from Linux distributors. This wide platform support allows enterprises to select the optimal platform to support their application requirements with the confidence that authentication and access control can be administered centrally and economically from Microsoft Active Directory.

Version 4.1 also enhances Centrify DirectControl's support for web and Java-based applications by adding clustering support, additional platform coverage and extended cross-forest support (including one-way trust). As a result, organizations can depend on enterprise-quality authentication, authorization and federation support for scalable, high-availability Java applications that are deployed in a clustered configuration.

"More than one-third of the Fortune 50 and over 400 enterprise customers depend on Centrify DirectControl to deliver identity and access management for UNIX, Linux and Mac systems and a wide range of web-based applications," said Corey Williams, director of product management for applications at Centrify.
