Infragistics Releases New Components for Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation
Infragistics NetAdvantage for WPF 7.2 creates limitless potential in the User Interface
PRINCETON, N.J., and ELSTREE, U.K., Jan. 29 -- Infragistics, the world leader in presentation layer development tools, today released NetAdvantage for WPF 7.2, the most comprehensive user interface component toolset for Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation. With this second generation of products, Infragistics is giving developers all the controls needed to meet the goals of producing high-fidelity, full-featured line of business applications.

New Features in NetAdvantage for WPF 7.2 include:
XamRibbon brings to market a highly flexible control that incorporates many of the capabilities of the Office 2007 Ribbon. It provides the Quick Access Toolbar, the Application Menu, Galleries, Tabs, Contextual Tabs, user customization, and the ability to reposition tool items based on the size of the ribbon.
XamChart offers 50 chart types in 2D and 3D rendering styles, with features like drilldown, animations and rich styling. The chart also includes rich lighting and shading capabilities, including custom ambience, direction, point, and spot light attributes.
Gregory Varghese, Chief Technical Officer at 2Ahead.com, a New York-based software development company, has leveraged NetAdvantage for WPF to produce high resolution graphics, rich styling and animation capabilities, and integrated UI visualization technology in his applications.
