Finjan Moves to Re-brand its Core Product Suite to Introduce the Vital Security(TM) Series
New Vital Security(TM) Product Suite Puts Finjan Centre Stage in the Proactive Fight Against Content Security Attacks
SAN JOSE, CA, USA - June 22, 2004 - Finjan Software, the leading provider of proactive secure content management solutions for global companies, today announced the first step in its launch of a new product and major enhancements to its existing suite of products, with the introduction of a new brand called Vital Security(TM). Vital Security(TM) brand replaces Finjan's SurfinGate, SurfinShield and Mirage security solutions.
In response to growing market demand for behaviour blocking technology and integrated best-of-breed security solutions, the new Vital Security(TM) product suite, which has started shipping, includes these products under the labels - Vital Security(TM) for Web, Vital Security(TM) for E-mail, Vital Security(TM) for Clients and Vital Security(TM) for Documents. The rebranding is part of an overall marketing initiative to highlight the needs, benefits and ROI of proactive behaviour-based technology working in concert with traditional best-of-breed content security solutions, in defending against new computer threats and Internet attacks.
