Continental Access Announces New CardAccess® 3000 Version 2.5
Amityville, NY - Continental Access, a division of the Napco Security Group, and pioneer and leader in access control technologies has recently released CardAccess® 3000 Version 2.5, a fully featured, robust enterprise class access control and facilities management suite for integrated access, security, badging, CCTV & DVR/NVR control. A scalable solution from stand-alone entry level access control through networked world-class enterprise systems, CardAccess® 3000 version 2.5 is a user-friendly, seamlessly integrated interface for use in any size facility and now featuring threat level management, visitor management and optional API module, as well as a Soft Key licensing option and improved installation and update features.
Continental Access CA3000's threat management enables security professionals to react more quickly to present or pending threats, by multi-hierarchical threat levels. For example, security personnel can instantly deactivate access privileges by badge or by whole-badge holder groups, independently or batch control badge-holders depending on the assigned security threat level. Essential visitor management control is also enhanced with CardAccess® 3000 version 2.5 for tight lobby security. New category counters and activity links provide enhanced building management capabilities, such as for automatically controlling parking lot capacity, maximum elevator capacity and/or fire marshal's maximum occupant capacity. Added improvements have also been made to Gemini alarm integration, time/attendance/payroll functions, email/pager notification, plus, this software release supports five sets of holiday calendars and multi-area anti-pass-back features.
