Viscom Launches EasyPro New User Interface for Fast, Simplified AOI Programming, Control
Norcross, Georgia, USA - Viscom announces the introduction of EasyPro, a completely new user interface for its circuit board inspection systems. EasyPro optimizes and simplifies programming and control, making operation of the machines easier and simpler than ever before. Time required for writing and optimizing programs has been reduced dramatically.
Viscom is continually working to simplify its AOI/AXI operating systems and control, and simplifying the software and making it more user-friendly. EasyPro was developed for the SI (circuit board inspection) division of Viscom, based on feedback and input from several hundred customers.
"With the new EasyPro software, we can drastically reduce the work required for creating and optimizing programs" says Peter Krippner, Manager of the SI Division. "Moreover we have significantly facilitated operation for the users by simplifying the user surface and guidance". The interface is presented in just a few clear displays: Inspection mode, Programming mode and Service mode. It is no longer necessary to open and close different interactive windows; instead the current selection is controlled by the system operating mode.
A further new feature "guides" users in the interactive mode, assisting them with interactive 'wizards' at all points where help might be required. The necessary entries are subdivided into clear, separate interactive boxes, reduced to a minimum and requested in the right order.
The programming mode has been optimized and laid out to meet user preferences. For example, with only a few mouse clicks and mouse movements, users can navigate through the program and perform any programming required.
