Bluestreak Establishes Industry Leadership as MachBlue Now Aavailable in Java to Run Flash®-Formatted (1) Files on Mobile



MONTREAL, March 15 -- Bluestreak Technology, Inc., the developer of the award-winning MachBlue(TM) platform for mobile phones and digital television, announced today that MachBlue Mobile will be commercially available for J2ME-compatible mobile phones.

MachBlue Mobile, which enhances the mobile user experience with rich-media graphics and extended device functionality, is now available on Java Virtual Machine-enabled phones. Leading operators such as Orange use MachBlue to create and deploy rich-media applications-such as mobile TV/video/EPG services-across an ever-wider range of supported devices including Symbian Series 60, Symbian UIQ, Windows Mobile 2005, Linux, and now J2ME. OEMs and content providers also rely on MachBlue to make their products easier and more convenient to use, resulting in increased adoption of video streaming.
