KISCO, N.Y., July 19, 2002 -- Zumbach STEELMASTER monitoring system gives management and operators the most comprehensive real-time dimensional information on running bar, flat or shaped products including angles and hexagonals. A dynamic real-time cross-section display depicts measured dimensions while a numeric display highlights pre-alarm and out-of-tolerance conditions.
The system includes historical strip chart displays, an active
events log, comprehensive statistics data and SPC control charts for up to 10 measured dimensions. Printed management quality reports are available for piece or batch production. An extensive product recipe library stores all pertinent product parameters with tolerances and report selections. Based on the WINDOWS(tm) NT operating system, the Zumbach STEELMASTER system
provides a familiar, easy to navigate, operator's display. Access to system Configuration and Maintenance functions is password protected for security.
