A total management software package for the small manufacturer or job shop - from quote through production, billing to shipping! Job Master is a new full-featured, but affordable, manufacturing, production and control software being introduced by Link-It Software Corporation. The package was designed specifically for the small to medium sized manufacturer and job shops. It is priced to fit the budget of companies from five employees in size upwards.
Job Master is a networkable, all-in-one program, containing all the modules required for production control and tracking in ready to install form. It contains a full quotation module, sales order module, shop traveler/work order module, inventory module, sales commission tracking, inspection scheduling and report, certification documentation, production, invoicing, P.O, and RFQ, and a full shipping module including packing slip production and tracking of partial shipments. Job Master also offers links to Quick Books, Peach Tree and Excel. An intuitive and self-prompting structure with drop-down menus allows even novice computer users to harness the program's power quickly and productively as they follow the natural flow of the manufacturing process.
The new Job Master, manufacturing program's natural flow path is organized as: Sales functions: quotation module develops quotes and revisions with history, sales proposals, canned cover letters, calculate margins, taxes, commissions. Purchasing functions: purchased parts requisition, draw from inventory, issue RFQ's, purchase orders, reorders, inventory -overage/underage, material certifications (ex: ASME. Mil Specs). Production heading: simple "point and click" converts final quote into editable sales order/order acknowledgement, automated shop work order entry, (aka shop travelers, routing sheets, flow charts), shippers, shipping forms, invoices. Single data entry makes all information available in every part of Job Master. Program includes Auto-fill functions, find/search functions and spell check. Password access to program modules and confidential data can be assigned on a -"three level" password basis.
Link-It Software spent years writing custom software for manufacturing and job shop applications. This varied experience included custom applications developed for the aerospace, metal etching, testing laboratory, heavy manufacturing, construction, circuit board, construction, tool & die, banking, clothing, recycling industries, as well as the service, insurance and investment sectors.
