SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 15 - FileMaker, Inc. announced today shipment of FileMaker Donations 2.0, a ready-to-use donations management application that helps charitable organizations and other non-profits plan, track and streamline their fundraising campaigns, donations and donor outreach efforts. FileMaker Donations 2.0 features several new capabilities since its groundbreaking introduction in 2003, including a complete re-design of the application to take advantage of the award-winning FileMaker Pro 7, launched earlier in 2004.
Major improvements includes a user-controlled multi-window environment, built-in security with predefined privilege sets, more powerful reporting capabilities, and quick view of outstanding actions on the home page, including contact interactions, organizations, group interactions, events and donations.

It can be downloaded or purchased as a CD-ROM. Customers will also need to have FileMaker Pro 7 installed to run FileMaker Donations 2.0. Customers buying FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Donations for the first time can get both for the special price of $363 (U.S.)
