Configurable Andon Score Board Launched by Gemba Solutions
Production scoreboards and Andon displays have traditionally been a fairly basic and quite expensive addition to your lean manufacturing programme. The data they display is usually fixed, and restricted to headings such as "Target" and "Actual", limiting you to snapshot view of what's currently happening on your shop-floor - once the display changes, the data is lost.
The new OEE IMPACT Andon Score Board from Gemba Solutions has addressed these constraints and provides a fully flexible and user-configurable display that is driven via a PC and can be viewed on an LCD or plasma screen.
Enter your production requirements and the software will quickly calculate TAKT times and a production plan for your machines/lines that automatically takes account of planned down-time (ie. breaks etc). A visual on-target indicator will let you know how you stand against target in real-time and you can also view a profile of progress throughout the shift. The Score Board will display values such as; minutes of shift elapsed; minutes required to reach daily target; minutes behind target; TAKT time.
Added to this, the OEE IMPACT Andon Score Board will provide you with an historical summary report showing shift and daily/weekly performance, including TAKT times, targets, actual production achieved, rejects and down-time.
