180solutions Announces ZangoCash for Web Publishers

New Interface Broadens Reach to Web Publishers and Provides All Publishers Reliable and Safe Means to Monetize Traffic and Content

BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 13 / -- 180solutions, Inc., a leading provider of Internet search marketing solutions, today announced the launch of ZangoCash (www.ZangoCash.com), an advanced, automated publishing platform that offers Web publishers of all sizes a means to better monetize their Web traffic and enhance the content experience of their users. ZangoCash's launch is a major milestone and a key component of one of the company's central goals-namely, to help all Web publishers make money on the Internet while providing consumers free access to high-value content.

"Traditionally, Web publishers, particularly the smaller ones, have found it very difficult to monetize existing site traffic and even harder to provide the compelling content that will grow that traffic," said Daniel Todd, president and co-founder of 180solutions. "The launch of ZangoCash levels the playing field and allows even the smallest of Web publishers the ability to generate revenue while providing free access to the popular, high-value content their customers are demanding."

In addition to higher payouts, ZangoCash is now offering several new and innovative tools to Web publishers, including Zango Gateway, Zango DRM (Digital Rights Management) and the Zango Syndication Program, all of which help improve conversion rates, enhance content and protect the content publishers make available to their customers free of charge.

Zango Gateways are Web pages hosted by 180solutions that act as a protected gate to premium content on a publisher's Web site. The premium content is free once the Zango Search Suite is installed. The Gateway allows the publisher to clearly explain the value proposition to end-users and it ensures proper disclosure and consent from consumers prior to installation of any software.

The ZangoCash DRM program offers publishers a way to distribute and monetize their media content while protecting it from unauthorized distribution. Many publishers already have some audio or video content and want to be able to generate revenue from that content as well as protect it from inappropriate or unapproved use.

Even though most publishers already have some content, the key to keeping their users interested and to growing their customer base is providing fresh and relevant new content. The Zango Syndication Program allows publishers to offer customers premium Zango content, or content from other third parties, such as games and software applications, audio and video, directly from their own Web sites. This saves expensive content development and hosting costs while providing users high-quality games and applications for free.

ZangoCash is an important evolution of its predecessor, LOUDcash, which 180solutions has operated since acquiring Montreal-based CDT Inc. in early 2005. 180solutions purchased the company to gain direct relationships with many of its third-party publishers and to implement tighter controls against fraud in a large portion of its publishing channels. With the launch of ZangoCash, LOUDcash will no longer serve as a portal for new publishers. All current LOUDcash publishers will transition to ZangoCash and must also shift to the company's updated 'Safe and Secure Search' (S3) technology no later than the end of 2005.

"Because we work with such a massive number of Web publishers, it is imperative that we have an accessible and advanced automated system for them to do business with us," said Martin-Luc Archambault, president of Zango Canada (and former president of CDT). "With ZangoCash, any Web publisher can apply for a publishing deal with us and be active within one business day. This streamlined system, coupled with our S3 technology, will enable us to better accommodate the needs of our business partners while enforcing stringent criteria for acceptance into our publishing channel."

The S3 technology is designed to protect consumers by thwarting the efforts of publishers who use botnets, Windows security holes and other illicit means to fraudulently install the company's software onto computers without user consent. New publishers who sign up through ZangoCash will distribute only the S3-enabled search assistants making it easier for both the publisher and 180solutions to better enforce the company's strict Code of Conduct, which requires informed user consent prior to installation.
