Schaffner Introduces New Flexible Software for Emc Emission and Immunity Testing
Edison, NJ, June 2002 - Schaffner EMC has introduced new software that enables EMC emission and immunity testing in one highly flexible, user-configurable package. The new EMC Compliance 3 software drives all of the most commonly used EMC test hardware and is adaptable to virtually any test situation. In addition, as changes occur in standards and test procedures, the EMC Compliance 3's flexibility enables new requirements to be easily incorporated into the procedures of the software.
The software is furnished with standard tests that can be run without complex configuration or setup, by merely selecting from the pre-installed list of tests. Complex sequences can also be created to meet more specialized test needs. In fact, the EMC Compliance 3 can perform any kind of EMC test in any industry with any equipment and in accordance with any standard.
The new software supports most commonly used languages, including Japanese, Mandarin, English, French, German and others. A built-in translator for key words is also provided.
Other features include extensive multi-user system support, tremendous reporting flexibility, and the ability to interface to any additional equipment that is required for EUT (Equipment Under Test) monitoring or control, as well as to mast and turntable controllers.
Pricing for the EMC Compliance 3 starts at $8,500 and includes one day on-site training and software integration. Delivery is 4-8 weeks A.R.O.
