Eurotherm, a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial instrumentation for the process control and data acquisition industries, and a unit of Invensys plc has released version 5 of the software package iTools. Known for its highly functional support of the Series 2000 instrumentation as a configuration, commissioning and cloning tool, in addition to an included OPC server, EuroMBus, the updated version 5 iTools software package adds a number of new features in support of existing and newly released Eurotherm instrumentation. Notable among these updates are a graphical editor and configuration wizard for the new Series 3000 controllers.
