Teltronics, Inc. Announces the Release of Cypreon 2.1.

Teltronics' Award-Winning Cypreon IP PBX Has Been Enhanced for the 21st Century

SARASOTA, Fla., Feb. 7 -- Teltronics' (BULLETIN BOARD: TELT) latest version of Cypreon IP PBX, v2.1, now includes support for a mouse/keyboard/touch screen-driven attendant application, active call and name/number Primary Rate Interface (PRI) display, off-premise dialing, silent call monitoring, and automatic route selection.

Cypreon's new attendant user interface offers maximum convenience with mouse, keyboard, or touch screen controls to give users the power to manage calls more efficiently in the way that suits them best. The interface's active call screen allows the user to select options for the softkeys while the phone is actively engaged in a call. Options include blind transfer, call time, line appearance, station appearance, silent monitoring, page and park, all accessible through the touch-screen display.

The name and number PRI display feature allows the information for an incoming caller to be shown on the active call screen. The user will know who is calling before ever picking up the phone. The name and number display extends to off-premise dialing as well. A user from a satellite office can use a four-digit extension number to call another associate in a different office, and the name and extension number will be displayed on the screen.

The silent monitoring application allows users of Cypreon to listen in to a call in progress, or optionally join a monitored call. This feature enables quality assurance in all phone correspondence.

Additionally, Cypreon's automatic route selection allows call flow designers to designate the most suitable trunk or trunk group on which to place a call, based on the number dialed.

"Cypreon's new silent monitoring and automatic route selection along with its attendant user interface, makes managing call flow simple and easier than ever before for our customers," states Ewen Cameron, President and CEO for Teltronics. Cameron continues, "Cypreon has received very encouraging market interest thanks to its rapid installation, easy-to-understand graphical interface tools, empowering applications like the Fingertip Toolset, which allows employees to program their own station in seconds, and Mobile Office, which provides full-featured communications support to both home and mobile workforces."
